Confession: I’ve never worn a maxi skirt before. I’ve always lusted over them, and all the boho/rocker looks people create with them, but at 5 feet (no inches), they’re always wayyyy too long on me. But then the skies opened up, and while thrifting, I found the maxi of my dreams. This skirt is the comfiest, black, jersey. It just barely touches the ground and I might actually end up living in it. Especially with the weather getting to the 70s lately! Do you see that I’m in sandals?!
I decided to wear this perfection of a skirt, with my new, thrifted, silk, crop top. Well, as cropped as any tops of mine are gonna get… My boobs make any short shirt slightly cropped, honestly. The warm weather brings out this boho side of me, guys. And although I have no interest in Coachella and the like, some festival wear is definitely up my alley. Easy, edgy pieces and lots of jewelry? Count me in.
Layered necklaces and a beaded cuff really completed this look, for me. And what would festival wear be without some kind of hair decoration? I stole this “belt” from another shirt and tied it up, to get a cute headband look. Now time to find a wide brim hat (finally.) and I’ll be all set for the warm weather.
